Tire opinions

Good day all!

Went to get new front and back tire today, which was suppose to be set of Angels and went to pick up bike and they had a mix up and put micheln.power pure on front and rear. Anyone run this tire and what's it compared to. It was end of day and I leave on trip next week and had No time to piss around! Dealers swears better tire then angel, but I want your guys opinion if you have ran them!

You will have some great handling and it will last about 3-5k miles.

the same thing happened to me. I mistakenly ended up with one of those on the front of my fjr. I thought it handled well and I just changed it after 7500 miles. Not a bad tire at all!

Ran a set on the FJR once . . . great tire for carving corners . . . on the softer side . . . thoroughly thrashed by 5,000 miles . . . .

I only get 3000-5000 out of the harder dual compound tires like the Z8, Angel, Road Smart, but I ride pretty aggressive. So if I ran those softer tires I wouldn't expect to get more than 2000 miles out of them. I would say it depends on how you ride, but it may not be a good choice for a long trip, loaded bags, and or 2 up, especially if there's a lot of slab riding.

I had a set of Pures on my GSXR 750. Great tire for track days and twisties and they are made lighter than the competition, about 2 lbs ea I think. You can feel the difference with turn in. I bet you will like them on the FJR but you won't get many miles out of them, maybe 4-5k. Ask your shop for a discount on the next set of tires because of the mistake and that you'll have to replace the tires so soon.

Mine didnt last more than 60 days. Less than 5k miles. I didnt care for them.
