I found this site just browsing around for all electric motorcycles...

Sounds pretty cool for commuting... Top speed 70 mph (needs to be at least 80) for 60 miles on a single charge... Charges in 4 hours and/or quick charges in 1.5 hrs.

Whats cool is that it is pretty cheap.. Available.. They have 3 models...

Check it out:

But the way you ride WW you would have to stop half way to work & recharge. :D

Gramps,

You right... This option would obviously require me to check-in early to the Hazelton 12 step speed control program at the University.....

Naw... I can always start my recovery after the fossil fuels dry up!!

HAhahahahah...

I hope it comes with synthesized real internal combustion engine sound, or has an optional card to put in the spokes to make a motor putt-putt sound of some sort....

I could just zip around on a bike going, Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz down the road.

I'd only have to ride it like 100,000 miles to get my money back in gas savings. :blink:

Very Cool! I'm actually thinking I may look into it's street legality up here. Awsome commuter... but I had to laugh at the "Optional touring cases and windshield"... where whould I tour in 45 min intervals! :unsure:

Can you send some of your free electricity up here? My power bills are big enough already! :p

Curb weight is under 300 lbs. Wonder why they didn't include some more battery capacity/range? Maybe no place to put it and keep it looking like a conventional motorcycle?

Wonder too, how many kwh it takes to charge?

* Edit * By my calculations... their motor uses 7000 watts/7 kw per hour. Looks like the batteries are designed for one hour at roughly 60 mph.

After adding RD, Starcom, Zumo, and heated gear... what's the range?

:)

$ 3,300 for 15-cell battery setup

$ 1,580 for a regenerative braking, 15-hp drive system

Sounds like I just found a use for Scab's old FJR frame!

:) :rolleyes:
