I have my Pirelli rear on order and waiting for me at Freedom Motorsports. Not going to have a repeat of last year.

I'm sure that will be good news to Jim.

This is awesome, Jim! Is Bruce going to attend EOM this year? He should come on up and ride, have dinner, etc with other owners.

That is a very good deal on the Roadsmart rear. And $26 to mount and balance is a steal.

The lowest I could find one (I just ordered a few days ago) was at Sporttour.com $135.95 plus shipping made it $145.90

I'll be changing my rear before leaving NH, even though I have another 1000 or two left on the Strada mounted on there now.

Being ever the frugal Yankee, I figure that I can always slap the Strada back on after I wear out the Roadsmart, if'n I feel like it.

Had I known in advance I'd have gone for this deal.

Are you sure reserving two just in case wouldn't be better!

Called and reserved a set of Dunlop's for Friday install. I plan to be there early on Friday and take the long way to Brier Inn. My thought is to pick up EOM-3

'PuckeredSphincterSouth" route which runs through Princeton and finishing the ride into Lewisburg. Hopefully I'll have enough time to do all of that. Will need to check Mapsource and see what it says time wise.

I'm about 90% confident in my tires for the duration of this trip.

I can't seem to get anyone at the dealership on the phone this afternoon to ask if they plan on having some extras on hend, so can any of you tell me what my odds are that they will have some extras in anticipation of so many FJRs in the neighborhood?

I'm in the same boat. I know I should've called earlier but well stuff gets in the way. I'm really hoping they brought in some extra's (Roadsmarts in my case). My tires will do the trip there and back, but they're gonna be close to looking like dinner when I return.

OK, I just got off the phone with the guy in parts, and he said they have about 4 or 5 sets of Dunlops (all we happened to discuss at the moment) and basically put me at ease ensuring they wouldn't let anyone be stranded in WV.
