Ok Bobby, so in the spirit of your post.........

Sorry Bobby, backin it in to a corner and wheelies are for squidly idiotic jackasses who have no right to be riding on the street. As for saving linked brakes for my cage, well, I really don't drive my cage as my fjr is my everyday vehicle, and for everyday driving on the street in all types of conditions, this ***** figures linked abs brakes would probably be a pretty good darn thing. Though I do agree with you that offering some of these things as an option would be good, though it would drive up the cost. Squidly riding......save it for the track and your track bike, Brudda! ;)

Not sure I understand why everybody is so down on the linked brakes. For your average rider, which I am sure most on this forum are, I would think they would be a good and useful thing.
Another viewpoint:

I don't think I'll ever want linked brakes on a sport/touring motorcycle although someday I may have to accept them to get the bike I like at the time. Personally I'm still having trouble accepting light multiweight engine oils; however, I do like the ABS on my 05 now with 16.5K. As for the air bag thing on the 06 Wing. I'm with WarChild there and there had better be a way to disable or remove it. That I really have a problem with & it would keep me from buying a bike that had it. Hit a large dog, or deer at speed & you may be able to keep it upright. Try that blind with a big bag around & over your head/face.

Scoot, you HAVE seen me ride then ! ;) Actually I appreciate your sentiment and I dont endanger my fellow riders, be them 2,3, or 4 wheelers( lets not bring sidewalks into this, America is built for motorized transport dammit!). I also use the feej as my primary transport and I treat him pretty good too. Truth is after 9 heart attacks, 2 quintuple bypasses and a pacer/defib and on blood thinners, I CANT go riding on a track anymore and most question me being on a bike at all. Screw 'em, life can be very short, I'm 44...and a half ! And I DO take objection to being labeled an *****...I'm more of a squidly moronic ******* /w idiotic manic tendencies ! Since I'm 100% disabled I ride in the hill country on off days by myself, and if I do bite it, I kinda hope the dead cat german bio fuel dude could use me in another feejer....just not a linked brake ABS '06 !!!

Hugs,

Bobby

Who knows, the adjustable bars and seat may not be any improvemnt over what you have now. You would still need risers and a LD seat anyhow.
risers- NFW. I'm interested in *lower* bars.

seat- Yeah, but I still need a good touring seat now...

Hey, BobbyBlue! No matter where the above dialogue goes-with your problems-still being able to ride-good for you!
