I've got a mountain of errands to handle.

And motorbike maintenance that's overdue.

And work-related paperwork to catch up.

But screw it for today.

I rode the local hills AGAIN yesterday all day.

And I'm fixin' to head out and do it again today.

193/Mosquito Ridge/Foresthill Road/Iowa Hill, and back down to the valley.

(It's a freakin' addiction.)

If anyone is interested in joining in, shout!

Hope to meet before noon. Auburn or Placerville.

Sunset is after 8, so a lot of riding can still be done before dark.

And the later light is best of piccies of course.

From yesterday -

I love the perspective here. Just the kind of picture we Forumites expect from Michael, and like the UPS man, he always delivers.

Almost the route I rode this morning. Too bad we missed each other. Mine was 80 to Foresthill Road to Mosquito Ridge to Hell Hole Reservoir/French Meadows to Wentworth Springs Road towards Ice House Road - last 50 yards or so of Wentworth Springs Road before Ice House had deep snow (complete with a couple of stuck pickups), so couldn't make it all the way to Ice House.

So, back up Wentworth Springs to Georgetown, 193 to 49 to 80 and home. I'll have to try again in a couple more weeks - always fun to complete the loop w/o backtracking. VERY NICE half DAY, although I was a bit under dressed for the amount of snow (It's dang near June - wasn't expecting all that white stuff to still be hanging around below 7,000 feet altitude).
