Well, The first person to book a room needs to let the rest of us know where so we can book ours... The whole "all the same eggs in the same basket" rule applies here, And it's a good thing!
My only requirement, Is i would like to be within eyesight of the bike, If ya know what i mean!

I am not opposed to Motel 6 either. Which ever is the popular vote, I am there. :)

It looks like we have a meeting place. We had the suggestion of getting on the road early on Thursday morning the 26th.

I would like to recommend that we all meet at the Motel 6 at I70 and Kipling (see address in previous posts) and be ready to ride at a particular time.

I am going to throw out the time of 6:30 am or 7:00 am . . . what does everyone think? I know a few of you are putting some miles in on Wednesday and need to get refreshed for the home stretch into Park City.

We have about 550 miles to cover for the day . . . .

Also, we might want to get some cell phone numbers, in case someone is running late, they can update us, and we are not all sitting around wondering where someone is, etc.

Feel free to send me your contact information to: [email protected] and I will start a email string with the phone numbers and email addresses you provide.

It looks like we are around 9 or 10 riders now . . . should be a great ride to Park City !

Joe

reservation made
GUNNY! :haha:

I reserved the last ground floor room! :D

Hey,Anybody want to hook up and do the ride to Park City together? I'm in Boulder, CO plan to ride via RMNP, Hot Sulfur Springs, Toponas, Craig, Meeker, Rangely, Dinosaur, but can only figure US 40 in Utah. Does anybody have a route suggestion for Dinosaur to Park City?

After the WFO, 7-29-07 I'm riding to Yellowstone, Helena MT, Missoula, Glacier/Waterton NP., back to Boulder. 2 weeks on the road.

Well, I have not heard any feedback on the starting time for Thursday morning . . . so lets say meet at the Motel 6 at 6:30 am and be ready to ride by 6:45 am? That gives us in North Denver area a little time to get there if we leave around 6:00 from our places.

Please let me know if anyone has a problem with this time?

That should work for me. Traffic might be a bit screwed up down by 104th and 84th avenues, so earlier the better. In case anyone needs it, my cell is 303 947-7641

BVail,

I made a reservation at the Sleep Inn at 120th and Grant since I accumulate points with them traveling on the job. I'll give ya call this weekend sometime. I'll be down sometime late Wednesday afternoon, early evening so I'll probably swing by to meet you and your brother. Yak at ya later.

Hey troops,

I'm spending Wednesday night in Meeker Colo, doing the scenic route to PC as suggested previously...

See you there!

Jeff

Well, Slapnpop and myself finally made it to Denver... 790 miles of BORING slab...

We are in 110.

I am not sure as to what the plan is, But Petey said the 0630 time is still good.

Talk to you all in the AM!

You guys & gals are going to have a wonderful time...........maybe next year. Ride safe all. Ron
My brother and I just returned from WFO6 this afternoon and we all had a very nice ride out to PC. There were about seven of us and and everyone had a good time.

There was one 'casualty' while out there. One rider's bike went dead on top of a mountain. Ignition switch went bad. But a local dealer fixed it enough that they could ride back home from what I gathered.

Looking forward to next year's festivities.
