Planning my electrification of my '08, and am wondering if anyone's every connected an iPhone to a TomTom Rider 2 to a Starcom with Bluetooth module. The iPhone and TomTom work fine through bluetooth to the cardo scala rider (just got the Rider and tried it out), but what about replacing the scala with the starcom? The diagram below shows what I'm thinking about doing; the iPhone has to have a bluetooth connection for the phone part and cable connection for mp3's (as it won't play music across bluetooth- go figure) and this way I can use the features of the TomTom's phone integration.
Switched power through Bluesea fuse block (would like to use the fuzeblocks.com unit, but they're still out of stock according to their web page) to all bits; connections to starcom from FRS/GMRS radio and iPhone music; iPhone cell via bluetooth to TomTom and from TomTom via bluetooth to starcom.
Thoughts? Ideas?
