Tonight at 600 local time I get my Brand new 06

Man I am excited

Man I love my life it is so cool

Back on a sport tour after a 3 year split from them

Had a V-Strom and a ST1100 then went to a Nomad for awhile due to being short and having a 12 yr old that always wanted to be on the back.

Now no more 12 yr old and a new bike

I am a luck man - a very lucky man

I will let you all know what my first impressions are

:p

Did you get rid of the kid just so you can ride? Works for me but some here may find it extreme!!

Glad to see you don't get easily excited Duezzer.....but I do agree with Barabus....getting rid of the 12 year old was probably a little over the top  .....enjoy your new ride....

I've got an eighteen year old. How in the hell do you get rid of them? I mean, is there a market for them somewhere? jr

Welcome to the group & congratulations ! It's a great bike, you'll love it compared to the cruiser ( spoken by an ex-cruiser owner ). Sliders my friend, sliders...

We still have a 21yr old lying around (literally). Worse still - he has a M1 endorsement and looks at our bikes. We've offered him a bike to get started on, but he's still eyeing up the 'grown-up' bikes.

Congrats on the new bike. I was as excited as you are when I picked mine up. The FJR will definitely not disappoint you. I have 800 miles on mine and am still finding out that the bike is more than I anticipated.

Understand about the teenagers; used to have those hanging around the house a few years back, life is better and they have kids of their own driving them nuts. Enjoy your new life! :yahoo:

glad you avoided the first day garage tip over... not that anyone here has had that happen...
