Really sucks to live in California, with 70-degree weather in January! Took a little ride in the foothills Saturday with the better half. Took highway 49 from Auburn south past Jackson and back. Short 200-mile day with lots of stops, didn’t take but a few pictures too busy riding and enjoying the weather. Getting ready to leave again for the foothills, got to enjoy the weather while it lasts. :D

That's just a cruel, cruel joke to play on a Yooper, here's why...

The record snow fall in up 'dare. That's 390.4 inches or a little over 32 feet but even more amazing is...

The record low snowfall in a year, just shy of 15 feet. Husky, your lucky your not within reach of YooperDick.

Hard to believe we’re riding in January with temps nearing 70. :D
I did a little run up and back on 193, same on Salmon Falls Rd., then up to Foresthill and out Mosquito Ridge Rd. on Saturday. Didn't hit snow until WAY up Mosquito Ridge. I'll throw a bone to the frozen brethren though - ended up riding home in the rain tonight (but it was still about 50 degrees F).
