The only time I open that pouch is to change plugs. I have only used the spark plug wrench out of it. I will have to try the Jis screwdriver next time.

Thanks,

Dave

These are M4 machine screws .... they are made of something approaching the consistency of cheese, as is the housing. Any more than "snug" runs the risk of stripping or shearing them. All they do is seal liquid at zero pressure under a rubber gasket.
Cheese indeed! I know a many have mounted gizmos to the master reservoir without problems, but a few have also stripped the threads doing so. Might consider using RAM ball in unused left mirror mount. (Photo compliments of Wfooshee)

I absolutely would if I didn't ride an AE.

You want a useless torque spec? Ain't nuthin' on this bike torqued as uselessly as the valve cover bolts were on my '95 Ford Probe GT.

7 pound-inches!

Can that really be measured??!?!?!?

My assembly method went with quarter-turn after contact.

I've historically not bothered much with torque specs if the bolt isn't pinching a gasket that holds pressure, or a bearing.
