Thanks for the link. That get-off looked a lot different in motion than in the stop action stills.

One has to wonder if he even warmed the tires up? Seems like it was right after he left the pits. I suppose they probably would have had tire warmers on it before hand.

Yeah, I was looking closely at the get off. He's way, way leaned over, and the difference in the lean angle between making the line and sliding looks like a fraction of a degree. If you're not crashing now and then, you're not trying hard enough...
