One class only - let's load it up with FJRs.

I think Leon at the track is loading it up with the locals. He didn't return any calls.

Oh well.

He did return my call this evening - I'll find out for sure if I'm in tomorrow.

Anybody else sign up from here?

I'll be there om my FJR for the Buell Day. How the hell do you suppose the Buell track day will cover the full course while the Lee Parks school runs just the south half?

Good catch. Houston, we have a problem.

The Buell track day uses the track. The Lee Parks course covers turning techniques that can be better taught at lower speeds - hence they need less space. (Click the link provided and read.) The instructor stays close to the students that way.

Houston, we may have a problem when a newbie goes out on a track at high speeds without experience or training. But I agree it is expensive.

I only posted it here to provide a heads up to any interested parties.

FWIW - Lee Parks is teaching the class, and there are 2 slots left.

Call Leon if interested at 630-728-2722

Thanks for the head's up - I've talked to Leon who needs to double check, but if two spots are open my wife and I will be there.

Now I just need to find someone to take my Buell day.

I am not sure if Lee is teaching or just doing a lecture or what.

Should I remove my FZ! mirrors and fF50s? Gotta install the sliders this weekend.

If you drop it you'll rash even the stock mirrors (as I found out last Sunday). I don't know what an fF50 is.

I generally do the minumum the class requires (which for this is only check the tire pressure), plus pull my radar detector and the headlight covers.

I did the class last month in Frederick, Maryland. If you're even REMOTELY considering this class, do it. It's an excellent class and really helped me a lot. I've been riding for a long time, but I recently got the sport(ier) bike bug and this class really got me in touch with better riding techniques.
