Yes, I dropped the girl yesterday, !@#$%^&*()_. The damage is pretty minor and I can't see putting out the dough for new tupperware. Anybody ever attempted doing a touch up paint job on minor blemishes and if so, what kind of paint did you use and were you happy with the results ? Appreciate any and all replies.

Try www.ColorRite.com

Without picutres, I can't make too much comment. Is it all scratched up, like a '72 VW bus? Or are these minor blemishes, which blend if you take a few steps back?

I've found that if you live with a minor scratch for a while, you tend to ignore it. Most other people never notice the thing, anyway.

Othewise, I also recommend colorrite.com.

From the FAQ section for Gen-I FJRs:

2005 - Galaxy Blue

Colorite

Duplicolor TY01612 Toyota Stellar Blue Metallic (8L7) (Close match for touch-ups)

The "Galaxy Blue" is: Dark Purplish Blue Metallic L

Yamaha code : DPBML

Color code : 0865

Thanks much !!!!

i bought the colorrite to match my 05 and it was and is perfect. I had one of my bags repainted at the begining of the year. A couple years ago I backed into a guard rail when I was trying to get off my bike quickly to help a fallen brother.
