Hey gang

you may or may not be aware that the Tour De France is going on right now, and there area lot of FJR's riding around for camera bikes and coppers!

Yeah....noticed that....then I stopped watching the cyclists and was on the lookout for fjrs. Even that dude that broke his collar bone didn't get my attention.

With Lance Armsdtrong retired, I guess Americans aren't watching as much.

The FJRs will be tied to press and rider support - all of the official bikes supporting the event are provided by Kawasaki.

I noticed them also and pointed them out to my friends.

Yamaha is getting some good press by having bikes in the second most watched television event in the world with over one beeeeelion viewers.

I thought it looked like the riders who look like cops were on FJR's, but the camera shots are so fleeting I couldn't be sure.
Caution- People who don't have 'em probably think we're a little obsessed when we do stuff like what's described above. It may be a (mostly) healthy addiction, but it's still something most don't understand.

:lol: Heh... was just imagining what people would say if we were watching TV together, and all of a sudden I jumped up and yelled "Hey... that's a Camry just like mine!"

Gave my 81 suzuki 750 gse to a friend of mine for free. One day some dude came up to him and commented on how he thought he was the only one with that type motorcycle in the area. I told my buddy, "hey, you meet a dude who has the same scoot as you and you are best buds forever". Any time I see an fjr on the road I stand up, point, shout....all them poor folks can do is nod and snicker....hope I don't embaress them too much.
