I went through a similar situation in 1999, Christmas day.

On the other hand, isn't it time you spent some extended in North America? First stop Creston CA?

If you do, I'll call in sick, take vacation time, mental health days.. (ohh, what a day)...

Well, since I'm pushing 57 I guess I'll be on the job market for a while... So if you need any tour-organizing support I'll have plenty of time to help you folks.My company merged with its major competitor and "their" Director of Sales & Mktg is 17 years my junior... :angry: It was a given I was the one who'd end up boxing his personal stuff and turning in his credit cards etc. Having just returned from the Pyrenees Tour, I was kinda taken by surprise by the news but at least I could enjoy the ride B)

Sorry to hear the news Stef, but if there was a fat severance package, give some serious thought to rewarding yourself with a lengthy sabbatical.
