OK, there's a catch. I want to send your seats off to be custom made, but don't want to give up riding while it's happening. I will send YOUR older seats off and when I receive the custom ones, I will send you my 2014 seats (yes, they fit).

I'll pay for shipping both ways of course. If needed, I can leave a deposit with you. Do you have a pair of seats sitting in the garage? Help a fella out.

I'm in depending on how long you need the seats. I have a set of seats from my 06'. They are in fine shape, just 8 years old. Are you going with a RDL? I know those can take a while. If I could have them back by June that would work. I plan on sending mine into Seth Laam. I'm not going to do anything with the seats until then so if it helps you out you can have them. I know the feeling of not wanting to be without a bike for a month plus.

I was actually thinking about Seth. My buddy got a Laam rebuild on his Connie. But I've emailed him a couple of times and he's never answered. I was hoping he might have some FJR seat pans available as an exchange.

Seth has FJR pans, I got him spares, ask him if he can make your seats first. BTW he's not really good on returning calls on a timely manner, or you could have leclaire send his seat to Seth directly for you.

OK marcus

, gonna call Seth. I have no problems paying a deposit on the pans.

Also good idea on the leclairk pans if Seth doesnt 'pan out'/

Good call on shipping direct to Laam if you need my seats. He's in N Cali and I'm in Oregon. Probably a lot more money to ship from the E coast.

OK, i filled out the order form for Laam, I am assuming he will contact me....

I've also been waiting on a call or email back from Seth. It's been about 2 weeks. I have about a month and a half until a long trip so hopefully he can get back to me soon. But I get it; I'm sure he's in high demand and working. Especially as the weather warms up throughout the country.

I dealt with Seth in the Fall and at that time he had I think, 2 sets of Gen 2/3 pans. I made use of that fact myself so I didn't have the lost riding time.I'm sure he's picked up now, in October/November he returned calls within 2-3 days. That being said, I love my new seat! Good luck.
