Yep ,I took my Victory, down to my VIC/YAM dealer in Ottumwa Ia. yesterday and received my order verification papers for my new 06 . Man, I can't wait for march. I'm a staunch Union tinner, and want to buy American (cause I think we are being sold out to the chinese by our lawmakers, dems and repubs.),but I got tired of waiting for Victory to build something besides a stretched out Arlen Ness inspired piece of crap(style wise)I have been waiting for a new tourer/bagger for 06 ,but they brought out another new chopper instead .So I emailed Polaris and told them to EAT ME! besides I can't hardly handle these weekend ,chap and skull cap wearing yupps. I've probably backed up more miles than they will ever ride forward. So i,m on the FJR band wagon.heres hoping I never meet any of you in chaps and dew rags

Excellent choice on the trade. Now you just have to survive the wait. Which one did you order? The pretty one w/out clutch or that blue thing?

Dirttracker,

I still got my big-twin chopper thing. But its stays very lonely in the corner of my garage. The FJR gets all my attention. I'll be selling the big-twin in the spring along with my do-raggies and chaps and such! :D

Are you guy's joined at the hip? Every pic I've seen of you guys you're "inter-twined". You do make a lovely couple. I'm too ugly to get that lucky! :D

Welcome Dirttracker from a reformed V-twin HD rider. I empathize with you sentiments but these bikes are of such quality it's astounding. I was just thinking "You know, it's been over a year now and I have had NO problems with this bike at all."

WUNDERBAR!

Welcome to the collective and ride safe.

;)

Is that Morro Bay rock in the background?
Yep. Being from Fresno, it's a popular play destination. That day it was an impromptu ride for lunch. We went west on 46 and down 1, then back home on 41. We'll make it back that way on 11/19 for lunch at Avila. See ya there.

Man, I hope there are none of those "joined at the hip" shots of us circulating around. ;) We do get along pretty well most of the time, when outside stressors aren't twisting us up. The bike, however, makes a great escape for us. Brenda actually looks better, IMO, than she photographs, in most cases. (Exception below, from the night we met. Her daughter Brittan is the other beauty, then 18 years old) When we go out together, women check her out as well ('cause they sure aren't starin' at me). I have twice as much to be worried about. I am truly blessed that she was interested enough in me to get married. Thank you for the compliment. :)
