I finally saw one last Saturday when a local rode it to a open house. I thought it looked pretty neat and did some research when I got home. When I went to the Triumph websites it seemed that almost everyone in the US had already had some kind of problem with theirs, usually electrical or electronic. The one I looked at.....is already in the shop for a new alternator after 131 miles....and the owner is not happy since he took vacation this week to ride his new bike and also found out that Triumph closed its Altanta Parts Warehouse and all parts must be shipped from England.

The bike looks neat, wonder what the price tag is going to be. I found the section of the headlight though too close to the tiger design...

Looks too much like a BMW RT and I'd rather it look more like an FJR.

Nice motor from what I've read though.

Thanks for posting Niehart. I-90 Motorsports in Issaquah Wa. where I bought my FJR also sell Triumphs. Wonder if I could get a test ride..... They offered test rides when I bought my FJR and one ride sold me on the FJR.

Checked one out at the CW Seattle bike show.

This thing is freaking huge...the pegs were far too high and forward and the handlebars reminded me of my back yard wheelbarrow. Wouldn't mind a test ride someday...but first impression was

Saw one too and also thought it was big.

Styling wise, it seemed dated. Kinda like having ST1300 headlights with R1200RT side fairings.

The 1200 triple and the electronic features were great though.

I will be interested to see what sort of feedback those that buy this bike have in the comming months. Im always lery of buying the first model year of any production bike. I will also agree that this bike felt huge. Of all the Sport touring bikes I sat on at the international motorcycle show the Trumph felt the largest. I would be interested to test ride it through.
