Next weekend (8/21 - 8/22) the local Triumph dealer in San Marcos is having a truck demo day. I'm thinking that I might go have a run at a Thunderbird just for grins. I've been wanting to see how that monsterous pararell twin rides. Anyone else interested?

You might want to log on to the web site of the MC shop sponsoring the demo rides and make a reservation for the bike you want to ride. The truck was in Canby, OR last weekend and all the bikes were booked up on Saturday. It was fun just looking at the bikes but the new models won't be out for another month or so.

I was just informed that we are set to go to the Summergrass San Diego Bluegrass Music Festival that weekend.

Oh well... Have fun and eat at least one hot dog for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's the plan I have so far. We should probably get to the dealer when they open at 9. We can either meet for breakfast around 7:30 or 8, or we can just meet at the dealer. Any thoughts on this Jordylad?

No Sprint ST test ride option? Might have to try out the Daytona 675 to replace my Honda CBR.

I see they'll be in Raleigh in September.

Yep many Triumphs to ride. Only was able to manage 2 rides though. Tried a T100 and a Thunderbird. I liked the naked Thunderbird the best. Very fine I think. Need more money and bigger garage. :dribble: That T100 would be great for crusin through small country towns and back roads.

Some strange behavior from the ncy staff upon arrival trying to direct me into a space. There were about 8 spaces empty. WTF? Get out of my way dude. Geeeezz.
