Troubleshooting

hi all,

can i please ask for some collective knowledge to troubleshoot a tech problem?

problem: horns dont work, dash lights don't work...

history: had everything off of front fairing to repair/replace parts from minor crash damage... reinstalled everything... indicator lights (abs, turns, neutral, ect) work, but speedo, tach, display panel are unlit..

checked: connections to dash unit, connections to relays behind dash uint, fuses next to battery, fuses next to hazard switch. all are ok/intact...

what can i check now?

The instrument lights are fused with the tail lights. Is it possable the crash caused enough physical shock to break the filiments in the instrument lamps and the horn is a seperate problem?

Or he is kicking himself after figuring it out, or he is stranded somewhere. :haha:
