Turn signal indicators

On the GEN II bike I keep forgeting to turn off the directionals. Oldtimers disease. Then a car will cut out in front of me and I'm ticked at myself for forgeting. Thought about all the other reminders, beepers, timers ~vibrators~. Got these light worxs led lights. All the catalogs said they were 1 1/8". But they are really almost 2 inches. Double back tape over green lites. Now it's a real attention getter. While I still have some.

Man, I wish turn signals just canceled when you upshift. I don't know about everyone else, but that's one thing I always do coming out of a corner. The speed/timer things are bogus and a shifter switch is known dead-simple race technology. In 25 years I've seen assloads of methods for turning off signals, but I've never seen that one.

Dude, habits form in 21 days. If you consciously focus on reminding yourself, 3 weeks later you'll never forget.

You're right. Easy to forget. I try to always hit the cancel button anytime I upshift just in case I forget.
