It's pouring rain here in Bako. I'm having a hard time justifying leaving my fireplace and hot cup of coffee, if you know what I mean.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather though.

Hope the lunch ride went well.

While I couldn't attend, I did get the FJR out for a couple of hours of brisk (34F out right now) riding today.

I took this picture in TWN's honor.

I also made it home OK, I know... BIG DEAL! 60 miles to Creston from LO RT.

Good to see some "real" SoCal riders, ridin' in my neck o' the woods again! Good to meet a few "new" ones!

For me, it was the first time I'd actually been to Dcarver's, and we live in the same neighborhood and even work at the same place.

Thanks for the hospitality Don, and for the roadside help!

It is always fun to pull in to an "establishment" with a full parking lot of Fjr's.

See you ALL down the road! :clapping:

It was a long day for us southerners. But the food was good so was the company,

I made it home in time to get **** faced with the neighbors, and now i am thinking same place same time next year.........

It was sure a long day for us SOCAL folks, made it home 8:24 in Chula Vista Great ride everyone, Good to meet you George and Steve I already know eveyone else, thanks Richard for looking after me and pushing my bike to start it, I keep leaving those stupid lights and my Ignition on. Thanks to your wife for a great dinner friday. dont break the TV

Steve

Back in Tarzana. Stayed in Creston overnight. Casa de Carver hospitality was wonderful, as always. Muchas gracias.

Today dawned clear and cold. Hard freeze at the Honderosa, nearby irrigated fields unintentionally turned icy white and at least one homeowners' front yard intentionally so transformed. Local roads this a.m. with DC, then down the coast which was as clear as I have ever seen it. From just below Montecito you could see the road cut south of Pt. Mugu. Pelican air corp out in force. Just lovely....and no rain.

The bike did pull off the 101 at Linden, round the corner, into a guest spot, five minute break and then south again.

Nice to see everyone yesterday to celebrate TWN's birthday. Also great to read all the "check in" reports.

Sticking my (snooty assed, frozen, east coast) nose in to say that I wish I could ride with you guys.
Enjoy the ride. I'm sure it will be fantastic.

Please say hello for me, to our friend TWN...

You guys rock.
Fred - Thank You! I too wish you could have been here! It was a very nice ride and group of folks.

Thanks to you Riders who rode to celebrate Tim's Birthday! :yahoo:

03SilverBullet rode from way south and back, as did Jorstin, from even further South.

OBTW, you both are forever kicked out of the CBA club, as you un-repentingly exceeded the max 200 miles in one day rule.. :glare:

FjronaMission rode North to South then back to North again - gaining studly points in the riding arena for a guy wearing sneakers on an FJR!

Seriously, it was a very nice tribute to Tim from friends -

Special kudos to BikerGeek :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: Nicely done! (and in cold weather too!)

Mr. Hurry-Up, I gotts places to be Fairlaner trying to get dressed for the huge ride from the eatery to the ranch. First he forgot to fish his keys from civie skivies after donning underwear, rain gear, heated gear, and anti-Barabus gear.... so the strip tease began again... while the group waited, and WAITED and W A I T E D for him to finally mount his trusted steed!

Then, afer all at drama, he drops his glove on the off-bike side and has to disconnect the vibrator, heat warmer, iTunes, blah blah blah deh la blah blah!!!  LOL - just poking fun at ya Richard...

Finally, on the road to get off the freaking road to wish Timmie a happy Birthday...

the fast FJR dirt pilots are 03SilverBullet and Jdog.. they do dirt.

This might appear to be cruel... but when was the last time you say FairlLaner's ride this dirty? (evil laugh here)

The tribute... Happy Birthday Tim, my lifelong friend. I really miss you, you good for nothing son of a' ******...

To close...

Thank you riders who represent all of what this community is about.. Some of you *******s rode a very long way just to have quick bite of food then turn back to ride home again.

Speaking of which... That 03SilverBullet is one tough son a gun... skinny as a runway model doing Meth, he arrived at the eatery a bit late, looked cold and miserable at lunch and also when touring the Hondarosa... street clothes only and a VERY WELL worn Aerostich ensemble..

I offerd to stay the night - free food (bbq steak, taters, lots of salad n' booze) and he said no. Three times.. I offered a spare sweat shirt to line under the 'Stitch. 'Nope, I'm OK'. Folks, this dude is one hard core mother (expletive) rider...

Very glad to hear you made it back safe and sound Steve, you ****** moron you!

Duff - Thank You.. very nice job and Thank You for all your effort...

One final pix..

Funny Pix.

1. MCML covers his eyes in horror.

2. 03SilverBullet pratices his bj technique.

3. Dcarver says 'look at the *** on that one!'

Wow. Waaaay cool ****. Wish I coulda been there.

Timmy, my gerbil loving friend would have been...........happy. With that smart-*** little smirk on his face.

Other than that, what the **** is that ghey-assed suit Fairlaner is wearing? Now Timmy woulda been cracking on that all day long. Besides, it makes him look FAT. Or is it he, that makes the suit look fat? Either way, ghey, ghey, ghey!!!! :****:
