Hey Guys.

I see that Two Brothers has slip ons listed for the 06. Has anyone tried them? They seem to have a cool look, I'm just wondering about the fit.

I have Two Brothers muffs, model M2, on my 06AE and they were previously on my 05 FJR. Also have the optional power tips installed. They fit simply in 15 minutes without any mods to either bike. They have a mellow but louder sound than OEM but not objectionable IMHO. Others that ride with me do not complain. The two bikes have so much inherent power and good mpg that I do not find any change in performance or mpg. No remapping of the ECU is required on either bike.

Hope this is helpful. If you go to EBay site and check for them, you can save some significant bucks, I did.

Do you know if the Cat is built into the exhaust or the header on the fjr? I'm looking at getting a pciii and may as well look at getting new pipes at the same time.

I believe the '06 has catalysts in the header and the mufflers.

John B is correct, CAT in headers and in each mufff.

I have a set on a 2004.

They'll set off car alarms.

Usually only have them one when I'm riding with +litre sport bikes.

or are planning a spirited ride.

These are Blue Flames.

They can cost between $600-1000 depending on how you want them configured and what they're made out of. Expect 4-6 or more weeks for delivery.

That FJR is way too clean. Those pipes look good though.
