The Oregon Department of Corrections has 15 prisons located throughout the state. I've decided to try and visit them all in one day and raise a little money for a non-profit that I volunteer with. Learn more at www.twowheelsfortransition.org and donate a little fund-age if you're so inclined. We'd appreciate it.

The Two Wheels for Transition Ride is less than three weeks away and I've done next to no riding this year! Since I need some seat time, you can follow me as I make a 12 hour shakedown run. I'll be riding to Lakeview and back (with a stop at Dutch Bros Coffee in Bend, I'm sure). If you're in front of your computer on Friday, you can follow me between 6am and 6pm, Pacific, right here:

Threw a little cabbage down for 'ya.

Tomorrow’s the day! The Two Wheels for Transition Ride begins at 3 AM PST tomorrow morning. I’ll be attempting an in-state Oregon SS1K. Follow me as I try to visit all 14 state prisons, over 1100 miles, in less than 24 hours.

Yo, Bio !!

Try not to get stuck at any of the facilities you're visiting. We don't wanna hafta pull together bail money.

Ya'all be safe !!

Looks like Paul got underway about 2:15 a.m.

I'm hoping to catch him this afternoon if schedule allows in Umatilla and will try a SPOT-to-SPOT Intercept again so you can watch him and me in the afternoon.

Go Paul!!!!

Just talked to Paul and he's ahead of schedule....anticipating some Portland traffic. Raining a bit and watching it become light.

This SPOT stuff is great! Watched John Ryan with it the other day.

Now I have something to do at the office today!

When will the SPOT tracking be considered as optional documentation for IBA rides? , he wondered.
As soon as you figure out a way to ensure the SPOT unit is attached to the motorcycle and rider claiming the ride...and not in another vehicle while they're taking a nap.
