After being closed for several years Two Wheels of Suches Georgia motorcycle campground & Lodge is back open. Rode by there today and saw it full of motorcycles along with a big "We're Open" sign out front. Nice to see them back in business.

Been reopened since Spring. Lots of upgrades done to the place.

Strangely enough, I was on ADVRider this morning looking through the photo thread for T.W.O. in Suches. They were all reminiscing on the good times and how much they missed the place.

You know those ADVRiders don't get out much

I'm supposed to have Traxxion upgrade my front & rear suspension later this month.
You will not regret it one bit ... well maybe when you get the Visa bill~ but after that... SWEET!!!
That's what I'm hoping. Dan has been great so far. I got a Penske rear shock on order and just going to have them rebuild my front forks with stiffer springs along with new seals & fork oil of course. I'm close to 30,000 miles on the OEM parts and I'm hoping this is money well spent for many years to come.

I had the Penske put on the rear and upgraded to the AK20 cartridges in the front. What a difference!!! I was having "Sliding" issues on wet roads with heavy winds, now it feels like I am on rails. Your lean angle will increase, along with your confidence level.

My suspension had over 100k when I did a ride in service. Great bunch! They gave me a tour and treated me like a king for the day.

Oh and across the street, they have this shake machine at the convenient store... sweet!

I've never stayed there when it was open before but knew about it. The link above takes you to their webpage, but the facebook page has more info on it.

It looks like the lodge meals are only Sat-Sun right now, but they are looking to expand things for next yr.

I don't camp much; my old back & body doesn't take to it like yrs before, but I would be interested in going there sometime and getting a room in the lodge. I'm guessing you have access to the rooms on weekdays, just no meals served; not clear on this.

Excellent location tho, and in the middle of great roads in the N. Georgia mountains!
