My tire setting are the same setting as Achiu.

Since it rains here (Seattle) regularly in the winter months,

I decrease the pressure about 2 Ibs to get more contact to the asphalt.

Achiu has has a lot of first-class knowledge about the FJR.

Thank you for all your help my friend, I greatly appreciate it :)

Hello gods,

I have similar tire pressure but I feel that the motorcycle is a bit twitchy .... I just did my California super bikes lesson 1 and they had reduced the tire pressure and when returning home I had set pressure at 42 /39 rear and front and last week I rode for about 300 km and was not able to impress my friends with my new skill learnt at CSS.... the tyres are metzeler 190/50/zr17 for rear and 120/70/zr 17.

I was running my front tire at 36-38 psi when I first got my 05 FJR. I noticed the front tire was wearing funny, what we call "scalloping" or "cupping." After asking the gods, as you put it, I raised the front tire pressure to 40 and kept it there. This cured the problem completely. The guys on the forum said my pressure was too low and might be causing the problem. They were right. I ran that Michelin Pilot Road 2 for about 13,000 miles with no more problems.

By the way, you might wanna start your posts off with, "Hello GUYS," I don't think any of us think of ourselves as gods. As a matter of fact, some of our conversations can get rather UNgodly...

Do you see any other FJR's over there in Dubai UAE?

Anyway, good to hear from you again. I think I remember talking to your once before on this forum.
