UFC 121 : Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez

Any predictions?......................My money is on the big man.

Looks like some great match-ups.

Lesnar looks like RoboCop. But without the personality. And a tattoo of a ***** on his chest.

I'm thinking Velasquez.

I would have given this fight to Velasquez before I saw the Carwin fight. We all saw Lesnar take a beating, something a guy like Lesnar has never had. And he didn't start crying like a baby or give up. So the way I see it Lesnar has power, agility, speed, great ground skills and now apparently he can take a punch(from the likes of Carwin no less). My money is with Lesnar.

I'm thinking Lesnar too. I will almost guarantee you that another beating like the one Carwin handed down won't happen to him again. He's a fast learner, and I bet has gone over and over that film to find his mistakes. I doubt we'll see Lesnar cowering trying to protect his face again. Besides, unless Velasquez can hit like Carwin (I don't think he can) Lesnar will be more in his domain.

Don't get me wrong, Velasquez is a badass too. He was also a Division 1 badass, but I think Lesnar has more skill and desire to win than Velasquez.

We'll see...

Gonna agree with HRZ. I bought the Carwin/Lesnar fight on DirecTV, and though I was rooting for Carwin, Lesnar showed me something I hadn't seen in him before. That guy is going to be really tough to put away unless he gets caught in a submission, and he's too good a wrestler to give anyone another chance at that like he did Mir the first time they fought.

Lesnar in this one -- a freak of not only size and strength, but also of quickness and athleticism. He seems to be getting better and smarter every fight -- I don't see anyone that can handle him.

No ****...Me too! I guess that's why I don't bet on these types of things. Now I'm not sad that I was at home watching "How to Train Your Dragon" with my girls instead of at someone's house watching the fight. I'll catch the highlights later.
