congrats ugar-6! My new 08 is over two months old and still 0 miles. Still two feet of snow in the front lawn but there is a forcast for a nice weekend coming up and think I will have to break it out.
LOL, yes I have. I don't usually use the hand shifter but when I was test riding an AE, I did it of course. Obviously, there would be several cars around me when I did it so I felt really stupid.
I actually don't have a Ducati. A good friend owns a dealership and I get to test ride all of them so he is very close to my heart. :yahoo: My wife won the jacket at the 1098R release party. She doesn't usually go to these events as she is not into bikes like I am. Man, I was SOOOOOOOO glad she came that night. I was going to get the Multistrada 1100S but she didn't enjoy riding on it so much. When we tried the FJR she loved it and I loved it so we went that route. I do like the new Multistrada 1200 though and can't wait to try it. However, I just can't see getting rid of the FJR now that I own one. Got to win the lottery so I can fill the stable with goodies!!!
