Well..........this is interesting; that machine looks totally different from the picture that ran in the Sept. '05 issue of CycleWorld; (see page 26). In that issue it is *also* called a ZZR1300; looks like a cross between an FJR and a sport bike (clip ons, no luggage, chain final drive, etc.) shown in blue & silver (go figure!) reported to be a 'Busa killer with 190HP & 110 ft. lbs. of torque. Kevin Cameron, who wrote the article, theorized 1287cc @ 10,500 RPM to produce that much claimed HP.
So what's the deal? Which one will really be produced? Or, could the bike portrayed in CW be a version to be sold by Suzuki, what with their partnership? Suz hasn't had a sport tourer since the early 90s with the GSX1100G. I had always read, however, that their alliance only went as far as dirt bikes, that the sportbike arena was still 'off-limits' to the each other w/regard to new technology.
