I wanted to go look at some things about the '06, but I can't find it anywhere!

the link from the other '06 thread now goes to the '05 model, and the '06 is no longer in the comparison drop down menu. the other '06's are there, and I know it was when I looked at the site last weekend.

What gives? Am I just retarted? :dntknw:

They are upgrading the bike so pulled it of..... They are putting in a 65 speed tranny to stop all the 6 speed bitching!

:p :p :bleh: :bleh: :p :p

Simple, really. Dealers who have '05's on the floor were screaming 'WTF'! Here's Mammy Yammy touting the '06's with prolly 1,000 or so '05 sitting out there... there's 3 w/i 30 miles here. Yeah, I know 7 or 8 month's before delivery, but still, I think the market is saturated with this type of bike, IMHO.

Dealers shouldn't have been faking the PDP then. It causes delays to the real waiters, IMHO.

There are probably a lot of '05s still in the distribution channel including those actually on dealer's floors. Guess Yamaha is going to get bitten by their PDP this time and get stuck with some bikes. Hope they don't end up selling them off too cheap and lower the resale value of the ones we have.

Sometimes I can't tell if your being serious or not TWN, :clown2: but I think you hit the nail on the head.

If I were in the market for a new FJR right now, I would wait for the '06 model, even though Yamaha is offering yet another shade of blue. :p If there are some '05's still sitting around into the '06 model year, chances are there will be some discounting going on.

Doesn't explain the FZ1 being pulled too and the other models not. There are many, many bikes still on showroom floors. Yeah, there are a few FJR's (I highly doubt 1000 :p ) , but there are also others.

I think it is industrial sabatoge by Honda and BMW. Yeah, they've gotta be involved.
