Ray,

Yessiree... that is definitely the big downside to any light colored gear.

I have a HiViz Fieldsheer Quattro I've been rockin' for the past 4-5 years (I was an early adopter of the current HiViz rage) and every time I turn around that thing needs another washing. Probably doesn't help that I use it on dirt roads a lot too. But with a good scrubbing, run it through the machine and re-treat with scotchguard, it still looks reasonably presentable.

The upside is "they" have a better chance of seeing you. Black gear is too hot for me anytime but in the coldest of months, but it does require less washing. I do have some older black jackets. No way I'd want a 'stich in black. Grey maybe., but I don't commute so the one piece thing doesn't work all that well for me. Prefer the flexibility of being able to take jacket off and leave pants on at stops, especially in the hotter months.

Oh, and I have noticed that bright yellow reflection in the GPS screen too. It is kind of a PITA, but if you tilt the screen just so...

It looks like the suits run a bit small. I wear a 46 stich, but the 46 - 48 (XL) Olympia Stealth is a bit tight.

Luckily Motorcycle Superstore has a great return policy and the return label is on their account (deducted from refund), much cheaper than I could get.

The only way to do an exchange though is to buy another and await a refund.

The nice young lady I spoke with tells me this happens all the time. That is many bikers are to big for their britches.

Gee, does this *** make me look fat?

I just purchased the XL Stealth last night after following this post but now you have me scared that it will be too small. I'm 6'1" and a little over 200lbs with a 36" waist. Do you think I will have a problems with it being too small?

You may be ok. You won't need as much material to cover you as I do lol

I am 5'11" and short legged. It was tight in the crotch and used all the slack in the side straps getting around me.

I thought it was going to be ok until i leaned forward a bit, The twins screamed in protest.

They had 21 of the xxl in stock when I called trying to set up an exchange.

I bought the XL Stealth and I am 6'2" and 190, wearing 38x32 jeans. The fit was slightly snug at the middle, all the way out. I liked the rest of the fit enough, and figured an XXL would be too loose, so I'm keeping the XL.

Thanks, sounds like an XL should be fine and glad to hear it is snug in the middle, as nothing looks worse that a bunched up one piece suit. Ups traking shows mine will be here Monday. The forcasted low for Monday is -22 so I prolly won't be trying it out on the bike right away.

My xxl arrived tonite. It isn't as much larger in the gut as I had imagined. Perhaps I have put on another 40 lbs in the last 2 days lol.

It feels much better in the crotch. After getting the legs hemmed it will be a keeper.

Be aware that some people are talking about the 1 piece "Stealth" suits, and others are talking about the Airglide 3 Jackets.

Josie and I received our jackets this week. We ordered our normal sizes per the Olympia charts and they fit the same as our earlier Airglide 2 jackets did. Which is to say good.

I really like that the AG3 has a rainliner that isn't insulated. That will be very handy in warm weather rain riding. Plus the rain liner / wind block will probably be just enough warmer on cool summer mornings. I know that some other manufacturers have gone this route also (TourMaster Sonora as an example). Our main goal in upgrading was to get the HiViz, and at the latest prices it was worth doing now.

I ordered the jacket in LG, 'cause every other jacket I have is that size ....For me, the jacket fitted a tad too snug. I did the (very easy) return deal and ordered the XL to replace it. This is really solid looking/feeling gear.

5' 11" --- 180 lbs --- 34" waist -- 44" chest
