Penis length aside, the FJR is getting long in the tooth.Kawi has made significant upgrades to their platform while the FJR, not anything, really.

Read the RR's with an open mind. If I was buying today, it very well might be the Kawi, just sayin'...
Okay, since Don said it first, I'll say it too: I would definitely sit on the Kawi if I had to replace my FJR. But as one who hits that starter button every freakin' day because he doesn't own a car and doesn't want one, "dependable, trustworthy" goes a looooooong way with me. And Skoot just proved it at 222,222 miles. I've never loved a machine in my life, but this bike I love. (Now I know why cowboys love their horses. Bust, I'm not talkin' sheep here.... :glare: )

That's just because you're too tall for sheep, JB. Be careful, though -- horses kick a lot harder. :p

Back on point, however: I don't care what the latest and greatest out there is. I love the FJR like no other bike I've ever owned. Dead solid dependable a thousand miles from home, pretty, and everything I need in a motorcycle. Like RJ, when this one's finally over the hill, I'll probably be in the market for another ABS '05 or '04 from that pool of low mileage garage queen Gen.Is that IS out there. :)
