In my case, since there can be only one, this is it!

...for me

84000 miles just turned 4 years old and I still love it. At least I can pretty well predict my next bike. It's pretty much stock. I did get a Corbin seat for long hauls 500+ miles. Replaced the rear shock with a Works performance. I am adding Some HID aux. Lights for times when I want to see more in very dark places. Maintenence is relatively easy except the valves( could be I'm just lazy). It is meant to be ridden anyway you can choose except off road and the one twist away rush in any gear is difficult to describe. It might not be the fastest but the twist is there after a few hundred miles and it can still be fully appreciated. yeh, it is a perfect bike.

Before i purchased the 05 . I have nevey seen the 1300 on the street in n.y.c NEVER . All the info. on the bike i recived was from this great forum . Turns out a shop in brooklyn had a couple of 05s in the crate and one was for me . After riding her around the street and then the hwy. i said to myself what the &^%$ did i buy this bike is killing my rists and the back pressure is ******** and why so *&^%)@# top heavy . Got home went to the pc clicked on FJR FORUM asked a couple of questions . Which were answered back very fast . purchased a taller windscreen and a set of bar risers BOOM bike was just to where i wanted it all for 210 big bucks . Since then the best extra was the penske rear shock what a difference like night and day . This is a great bike . If it was not for this forum i would be on a harley road glide today and would have never rode the fjr monster. Thanks to the forum members i am on the monster for the last 4 years and haveing a blast .
