Dang! Too damn quiet in this section. Time to liven things up a bit. Fukin Kalifornicators are making us look bad.

Hey y'all, how does cold cervezas and shrimp enchiladas down on the malecon sound? Well, some of us Phoenix area riders gots a ride brewing - a ride to Puerto Penasco, Mexico, or in gringoese, Rocky Point. So come on out and join us. For some of us, it will be an Saturday night overnighter, and for the rest, just a day trip. I highly recommend the stay overnight, as it allows mucho consumption of cervezas, tequila, and mui bueno vittles.

We wiill be departing the Phoenix area early Saturday morning, February 10th. From Phoenix, it's a beautifuly ride through the desert and only about 4 hours including a gas stop in Why, Arizona. For you girly types that can't stay overnight, forum wuss vectervp1 will be leading the gringos back later that evening after cosuming some mariscos and camrones at Lily's on the malecon.

The rest of us, after sleeping off the previous night's revelry, will be returning early Sunday afternoon.

Simple. Mui bueno.

These little overnighters to Rocky Point are always a blast. Good riding, good friends, good food, good drink. So come join us!

Hasta luego, mi compadres!

Hotel Change in Puerto Penasco for Saturday, February 10: Due to new requirements of the other hotels we were looking at in Rocky Point now demanding a minimum of a two night stay; we’re now lodging at the Playa Inn of Rocky Point. You can view all of the details www.bwplayainn.com and book your room online or you can call a really nice lady named Eloisa here in Phoenix at 480-598-3715; Fax: 480-855-7571; located in Old Town.

If you have questions on the trip/insurance call Don Stanley at 602-722-0427

Booked my Room with Eloisa at the Playa Inn in Puerto Penasco: I booked a Deluxe room at Playa Inn Rocky Point for a total of $88.48; US $79 plus taxes/fees of $9.48.
