A very favorite activity for me is to just head for the Smokies and ride familiar roads for a couple of days. The current non-format of SFO in AR seems to be well received, and I'm wondering how attractive would be a "S&MFO (Smoky & Mountain Feej Owners) gathering be for Feej Peeps.

The format is to just pick a date & place to meet, and just ride and eat. Nothing else involved.

Whatta ya'll think? Staying somewhere reasonably priced like Clevelend (TN), Bryson City, Johnson City, Townsend, etc and just getting up Friday & Saturday and riding. Arrive Thur and go home Sun.

whatta think ???

Tent or cabins at BRMC, Cruso. Good food, excellent riding. :)

We didn't have our annual camping trip this year other than a few of us and our early season camp at Lake Moomaw, so more opportunities for mini-meets would be fun! I'm interested.

I'm spoiled by the good food at BRMC, lol. Crawford's was okay though spartan.
Has BRMC upgraded their facilities at all?

Seemed "well worn" back in 2010. Of course they may all seem "well worn", so waddo I know.

I sure had a blast there with you guys in 2010...I'm sure I will visit there next year if not this year. Greenville, SC can't be too far away from there.

If you're talking about the kitchen...yes, it went back in operation the year after our camp meet there. The food is really good and the desserts.....mmm. When I was there last year, it was quite nice. BRMC is quite active on Facebook.

Another place that might be worth checking out is the new iteration of "Two Wheels of Suches" (old TWO location). TWO used to have some of the best food around...I have no idea how the new owner's ideas will compare.

way on the west side of the mountain, in Tellico Plains is Hunts Lodge for Motorcycles.

It's located at the foot of the Cherohala .

great hosts, rustic, very reasonable prices

food is up the road a few miles in town.

probably not the best place for a Gathering...

it's all gravel big driveway

food on premises is big advantage and recommended
