Hi,

If you want to gain better access to remove the cam cover, better to take the throttle cables off from the throttle and not the throttle bodies.

Then just loosen off the adjusters at the throttle bodies.

Listen to the Aussie....take the cables off at the throttle grip, thread them through the frame and fold them outta the way. Easy peasy!

Actually, you don't have to pull the cables out, valve cover will come off. Undo at the grips, just pull back enough to give yourself some slack.......... rotate sideways at the throtttle cam.

When doing my valve check I was shown if you undo the right side handle bar you can gain enough slack to do just that! Just protect the tank from getting bumped! Oh yea, if the tank is off it won't get bumped just maybe dropped!
