Damn you guys are hard on yourselves. I'm an L.A. boy, work at STAPLES Center and have been a Kings fan for over 30 years. I'm still in shock and cannot explain what happened.

I truly expected to be taking the ice out this week

And all that crap people are talking about Kesler? How many times has he won the Selke Trophy?!

You guys will be back next year and probably kick our butts (and everyone else's) up and down the rink.
30 years? So you remember the purple and yellow (widely regarded as the ugliest hockey jerseys at the time) jerseys? Rogie Vachon? Marcel Dionne? Dave Taylor? A little know player by the name of Wayne Gretzky?

That team has had some wild ups and downs over the last 30 years. To me the worst downpoint was Barry Melrose. No matter how successful he was, I just could never stand the guy.

Cups here in NY (my big hands anyway).... AND, who needs pucks when you can play with melons!

Dude - be careful what incriminating pictures you post up on the internet. That looks like it was taken from surveillance video footage of a crime in progress.

...Winnepeg ...
FER CRYIN' OUT LOUD, Wheats!!

It's Winn-i-peg!

The axle around which all of North America turns!

The hub of the province of the GODS!

Childhood home of Neil Young!
Time to be truthful to everyone on the forum OM, it's actually Winterpeg.

The home of Winter except for the two weeks in July when the dog sledding is a little iffy.

As one who has stood at the intersection of Portage & Main go ahead and tell me different.

Winterpeg did at least give us the Guess Who ...

It is amazing what great artists came out of Winnipeg. The Guess Who were a fantastic group and Neil Young is still in my personal top five of great musicians/guitarists.

However, I'm still pissed off at Mr. Young for placing that bomb on Ronnie Van Zant's airplane though. Come on Neil, it was just a damn song! "Sweet Home Alabama"!

What is amazing is that being from Winterpeg one would have thought that their fingers would have frozen off and never be able to play an instrument. I've always lived in the Sub-Tropics of Canada - Southern Ontario.

Bill, since it's indeed Dogpile Friday here on our FJR Forum: That fact may explain why Old Michael constantly masturbated as a youth, to keep his fingers stimulated!

Well if he was masturbating on the corner of Portage & Main it would given the term 'Stiffy" a whole new meaning as in frozen stiff.

Small wonder he moved to La-La Land to thaw out.
