well it's 5:30am and i need to vent a little. too early to call anyone so i'll vent here.

i went to kelowna for a prolo therapy treatment. still looking for a fix for my back since being rear ended on the fjr 17 months ago. after the treatment yesterday i traded my 10 year old pontiac for a new nissan titan. the 4 hour drive home through the mountains convinced me that a made a good choice.

at 4:30 am the phone rang. i kept trying to answer it by turning the alarm clock off. it was my security alarm company. they had a glass break in the solarium of my dairy queen. i told them not to dispatch the rcmp. i'll check it out myself. hopefully it's a false alarm. if by chance someone gained entry, i want first crack at them. the courts don't dispence justice for mischief but i might.

sure enough. they put a rock through a double paned tempered glass. this is the pane that curves. not a stock item. special order. so now i'm camping in my restauraunt and bitching about it on the wide wide world of web.

ok, that's enough of that. i can get a jump on my day. once i get caught up, i can go through the manual and figure out how everything works on my pretty new truck.

i feel better now.

i don't understand vandalism.

Yep that sucks.

Go get some plywood, and sheet metal screws. Thats all the glass co will do till they get your pain in.

Look on the bright side. you can console yourself with the Blizzard of your choice.

Sorry to hear of your loss from vandals.

If I guard your DQ at night, do I get free soda and cones? (my attempt at humor)

You're not alone, Rode my new to me VFR to grandsons soccer game at the local park. I found a nice flat parking spot on the asphalt and put it up on the center stand. An hour later I come back to find the bike laying on it's right side, mirrors busted off minor scratches on the flairing. First thought was find the little cretain and kill it, second thought was I'm glad I didn't ride the FJR.

BTW, if anyone heres of a motorcyclest running down some skatebroaders ..................wasn't me.

Nothing pisses me off more than someone elses jelousy. Obviously someone who has nothing decided to cause you a little grief. People that break other peoples stuff is aggravating. To bad our society doesn't subscribe an eye for an eye method. If you ever find out who did it, you could break every piece of glass they own. Sounds fair to me.

Are you sure one of your employees didn't forget a cherry on top of someone's sundae.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe you had an unhappy customer recently? Chase some loiterers out of the parking lot?

There is good argument for making kids work when they are young. If they spend money that they earn, they are less likely to ruin stuff that they didn't pay for. We are all assuming some kid did this, when it could have easily been Derek's ex girlfriend ;) ha ha ha

back in my hoodlum days, vandalism was the only way to have some 'control' over what went on around me when i had no responsibilities... :assassin:

now that i'm 'wmwm' (White Male With Mortgage), i've gone too far, and i expect all to be accountable and to do the right thing... :popesmiley:

trying to find middle,

dana

Down by my farm, South of Kansas City there have been several new 4 wheel drive tractors set on fire in the field. Sugar in the fuel tank of a combine, corn fields about ready to be harvested had 4 wheel drives go through them destroying the corn, and some other acts. The locals are carrying guns and looking for someone to shoot. They are more than pissed.

They broke into my garage earlier this year and stole my ATV and a bunch of tools, air compressor, chain saws, and other items for about $20,000.

There will be a great conflagration if they are caught by non-Leo's.
