Every day I ride the FJ to work and love it more and more. My only real complaint, at this point, is that when I hit about 65 mph, or almost 4K rpm, my mirrors start to vibrate just enough that I can't make out what the vehicles are a short distance behind me. I don't really feel much of a buzz in the handle bars or anywhere else for that matter. Is this normal? I'm planning on syncing the TBs and adjusting the CO2. Hopefully that will smooth it out a bit.

I had some visual buzzing in my stock mirrors. You can help some by rotating the mirror part in the housing clockwise (or counterclockwise) so that it rests on the housing. I ended up installing gen I mirrors off a FZ1 for better visibility (they stick out further) and they seem to vibrate less. The FJR does have some vibration at about 4k, so you'll always have some buzziness there.

I have been giving the FZ1 mirrors some thought. I'm always tucking one of my elbows in tight against my side to have a look behind. Would like a wider view. Thanks for the suggestions.

Dave, I'm having the same problem with the new 2010 but only with the right mirror.. My '07 never had this problem so I'm sure I just need to tighten up something.
