A definate case of 'just take the ticket'. Might have a little trouble ditchin' a couple of those boys.

Every time I see one of these videos - and of course they're never done in the USA - I'm reminded of the pathetic state of motorcycle training in the US of A. Thankfully the racing schools and Lee Parks and some others have clinics available. I just wish more people would attend them. There are some scary-bad riders out there.

You really don't have to point me out like that, chornbe....my feelings might get hurt.

Sorry, man. Spade, and all... :p

All kidding aside, I went to a small-town bike rally the other day and saw some really, really bad low-speed riding on all kinds of bikes. Feet dragging galore, stalling like 10 times trying to get across a parking lot (hey, we all stall sometimes, but 10 times going 100 feet??), almost-dump-and-panic-leg-drop an ElectraGlide, etc. I was on my cruiser and felt like I was showing off just riding across the parking lot.

But hey... that White R1 with the shark skin seat and chrome everything and that Cadillac emblem (true story!) sure was hot

ugh. Fugliest thing I've ever seen.

We need picks of that R1!

This gala event happens the first sunday of every month. I'm absolutely planning on going back next month with camera in hand. I didn't actually know we were heading there when I left, else I'd have brought it. I *really* hope to see the R-1 again, 'cause I know the only people who believe me are the 2 guys I was with and the rest of the awe-struck people blinded by the bling.

I saw two other FJRs there - I wonder if they're members here.

(this was in Ephrata, PA, by the way)
