For anyone attempting to install the Vista Cruise throttle lock using the "fits most Hondas" method, it is not necessary to trim the collar on the hand grip.

Using a dremel tool, you can modify the V/C enough to allowance clearance between the V/C and the hand grip collar, thus leaving a cleaner install appearance.

I also discovered another issue with the V/C that I haven't seen addressed on this board.

My V/C had a tendency to disengage on it's own after about 10 seconds or so. (even after multiple adjustments to the nut/screw/whatever)

I was able to fix this by doing some simple filing. here is a photo showing the mods.

#1 is the area I ground off with a dremel tool to allow clearance for the grip collar

#2 is the area of the VC that I filed to increase the area so the VC would not disengage on its own. I just used a metal file to do this one.
