As Hwy 20 (North Cascade Hwy) is on my 'to do' list, I thought I'd go home that way tomorrow.

Don't appear to be any closures etc, just some minor drainage work.

Anybody used it recently? Any tips?

Thanks.

Al.

Bunch of my buds went today.....believe all good, go while you can, always a nice day ride.

They just cleared a landslide, 20' of dirt and rocks on Hwy 20, it may be slick if there's rain, not sure how well they clear the roads, just keep a heads up for sign of dirt on the road. Have a safe trip home.

Haven't heard any reports since the mud slides were cleaned up. With showers moving in this afternoon, be on the lookout for any muddy / slick spots.

It's a great road, have a fun trip!

Just tried GoPro on mine last week......first time on my new (to me) FJR.......I was pleased with the footage/quality through the screen.

Have a great day!

One of my all-time favorite WA roads. Hope you had a great ride.

Heading the opposite direction on Thursday. Taking NF-25 down to Hood River.

Well, I made it home.

Hwy 20 was in excellent shape, no mud, a few small rocks and light traffic. The only holdup was from the center line painting truck, we weren't allowed to pass him as the paint was wet.

For a time, I was riding with my head in the clouds - well almost! But no sign of rain.

Lost contact with the GPS satellites for a while, showed my speed as 187MPH and climbing, I turned it off at 415.

The GoPro mount worked very well - more than I can say for the camera. It's an original Hero, I may have to consider an upgrade one day.

No sign of rain until just after Summerland, BC (close to fastjoyride Dave's place). The sky suddenly darkened and it started to pour. Pissed down all the way to Kamloops.

Still an excellent ride.

Looked like a great day. I drove home from Naramata today, glad to be in a car for the wet stuff.) :)
