Depending on your view Wal-Mart is either good or evil. Well..today Wal-Mart is evil. I was out on a nice ride with my son(350 miles) and I see something in the road ahead of me.. A Wal-Mart plastic bag. As much as I tried to avoid it, it seemed like it had a target lock on my bike. You guessed it....it hit the exhaust right under the bag on the left side. Once i stopped, the bag was gone and it left a nasty calling card on the exhaust. I tried the finger nail and adhesive remover, but no luck... Anyone know how to get this off my exhaust with out stratching the metal??

You can bet your sweet ass that bag didn't have health care while it provided containment services at minimum wage!

You tell 'em Che "Radman"! :gun:

As for the bag, you might try a lot of elbow grease and some polishing compound.

I have had good luck with the "copper" style of steel wool like normally used in the kitchen. I used it on melted rubber (boot sole)on the exhaust pipes. I haven't tried it on plastic but would if need be. Best of luck & let us know what you use & how it worked. Ron

Oven cleaner is also great for cleaning carbon off of spark plugs! Great for the 2 strokes.

I just overhauled my outboard motor and used it on the heads/piston/powervalve/exhaust. Worked like a charm.

Che was a puss!
Although I'm not a "sympathizer", I don't think he was a puss. Have you read The Motorcycle Diaries, Notes on a Latin American Journey, an account of a trip on a Norton in 1952. Great story and great writing.

Indeed.

The movie, in Spanish, with English sub-titles is outstanding. Very thought-provoking and great scenery of a lot of South America.

And what the poor Norton goes through :)
