TC, are you talking in your jeep, or on your feejer? Every once in a while I'll get one of those chumps next to me in a tricked out :haha: import come up next to me and gun the engine. Sometimes I even give them the look and attain the stance. I really shouldn't encourage them, but I especially like to do it if there's a cop around. Once I'm in the drag strip, tank covering mode, those imports can't help but let 'er rip. Then I take off like grandpa when the tree goes green. Unfortunately, I've never seen one of those guys get ticketed.Funny, those Honda guys don't seem to challenge me. Maybe they are and I just don't notice.
Never owned a Jeep, but can still remember being accused of it many times in my FJ40. "Hey, nice Jeep". I let the girls get away with it, but guys got corrected. I was referring to being on the Feejer. I wouldn't waste my gas on the Honda set, and I think most of them in my area know not to challenge Japanese bikes unless they are trying to bait them into a ticket. Either way, it's a no-win for me. I have enjoyed embarrasing a Viper and turbo Mercedes (driver wearing Harley dew rag) so far, but I definitely don't go lookin'.TC, are you talking in your jeep, or on your feejer?
And I always thought that was an urban legend... One time I caused another driver to get pulled over. He kinda cut me off from a right turn lane merge and, knowing a cop was following a ways back, I over-dramatized my reaction. It worked like a charm and I enjoyed a good laugh. It never happens enough to call it justice. My brother and I notice a police car that pulls up behind us, but the TransAm driver didn't notice him.
