another option, it sounds like, is putting on some FZ1 mirrors.

From a FZ1OA Board member. A lot of them don't like the stock mirrors and replace them.

or Do a search for FZ1 and mirrors ......seems like they run about $38 a piece.

How about contacting Gary McCoy at University Motors to buy a brand new set of either stock FJR or FZ1 mirrors? I bought the FZ1 mirrors and thought the price was excellent for factory new. I think they were $38 a piece with nominal shipping charges.

FJRocket, Your price is about right on w/ University Motors. I just ordered one right & it was $37 & some change. Also ordered some other goodies that I figured would cost a boatload more than I was charged... & was extremely pleasantly surprised.

Or, you could go to ebay and buy a pair of Emgo FZ1 extended mirrors for $49.95 like I did.
