Probably a lot of you have gotten this or one similar recently via email, but if you haven't seen them yet, definitely worth a look. See if you can keep your eyes dry.

Coming Home.

And for you serving, those who ever did, or have somebody over there now, once again, THANK YOU.

.

I've seen it at least a dozen times and it still gets me every time.

I got to surprise my wife once in a similar way. I came home 3 weeks early off a long deployment and called her from the Air Force Base where we landed. I called her and asked what she was up to, and since she said not much, I asked her to come pick me up. Then I left the next week for another deployment. Oh well.

Never fails... Always gets me.

I think it effects me more watching others returning from deployment than it did when I was me returning.

Yeah, it is heart warming to see a service man return home from a tour over seas in harms way, and I will say, thanks to all of you who have recently served!

However, here is the problem for me at my current status in life. When I return home from an extended motorcycle ride, my dog and anyone else who's home, welcomes me back the same way?

Not ever sure anymore, what service tour, I am returning home from?

That was really good.

EVERY SINGLE ONE of our troops that has EVER served should have come home to a greeting that nice, as should those who serve but don't wear a uniform.
