I loved the cartoon. That was hilarious. They got rained on and you stayed dry.

OK let me see if I understand. You all took off for Deals Gap, you couldn't keep up. They pulled off to wait for yo and you never showed up. Yuo finally hooked up at Deals Gap and were going to meet at the gas station but again you fell behind and never showed up again. And now your buddies are really pissed at you?

Is any of that correct.

Close....they took off and never stopped. Now, they are pissed because they got soaked for 3+ hours looking for me.

Heading home, they were supposed to stop and wait at the gas station at 74/28 and they weren't there.

OK, so if I interpret the animation correctly, you not only didn't keep up, you took a different route so that they could have waited all day and you would never have caught up. Yes, the rain must have exacerbated the situation, but if I read it right the problem was that you didn't follow the agreed route.

I had a route planned, and apparently so did they....it just wasn't the same route. I followed the way I knew to get there, then the got soaked trying to find me.

Had they just stopped past Lake Lure where 74A/64 split, there would have been no issue.

Tell them to check the weather B4 riding. Rain gear will prevent soaking.
