Check my ad for the adapter plate for when you find a box. It moves the box rearward a couple inches to allow more passenger room, especially with the backrest.

Did you find a blue to match the 05' or did you go with the flat black? I've got a E52 red that I want to match to the Galaxy Blue, but with a price tag of $170 for the flat black top (dealer said they don't have Galaxy Blue) I'm probably gonna tackle painting it. Would like any info on success or failures on painting. Now that I've hijacked your thread I'll probably repost as a new one if no reponse.
