Wanted, Yamaha aluminium rear rack

I got me a 39L Yamaha top case (used, thanks Gazelle).
I think it'd be wise to replace the plastic rack so the sub-frame doesn't crack. So I'm looking for one. Just thought I'd check here before buy new from Yamaha.

I have a 2007 Gen 2.
I'm in Alberta Canada.

Ι don't think that the 39L Yamaha top case fit in the Aluminium rack.I think that they made it for the Bigger Yamaha top case,but i am not very sure..

Yes it does fit, that is what I am using.

The new rear carrier is a nice piece of work.

Yes it is really nice like a piece of art!I like it but it doesn't fit on my Gen 1 for sure...

Does that work with the Smuggler and do you know if it would accommodate a Givi Monokey mounting plate?

Does it provide similar subframe reinforcement as the Givi SR357? My new bike has a Smuggler but there are times I would like to swap out the Smuggler for the rear seat and use the top-box. Since the Givi SR357 won't work with the Smuggler, it would be necessary to spend a little time swapping them over any time I wanted to change to accommodate camping gear or a passenger plus luggage space.

Almost hate to ask, but what does Yamaha want for that little gem? (If I'm lucky, it won't work for me anyway!)

No used ones, so just ordered one from Yamaha.
