Wasn’t it Denver that recently passed some kind of a law outlawing non-OEM pipes on street bikes?

Let's see most of those pipes are marked, "For Off-Road Use Only" and are not federally street legal. That really gives those suing a great starting point for their lawsuit. ********* brought it upon themselves with their "Loud pipes, annoy your neighbor" attitude. I hate to see legislation on things like this but our cruiser brethren have no one to blame but themselves. Maybe this will bring an end to those yokels revving their engine whenever they go under a bridge or through a tunnel. 8 year olds brain in a 60 year old body... <_<

As for Denver...it's doable...just an hour to get out of town to the good riding...

Yep! Though they are being sued in Federal Court by different organizations and citizens.
Copy that! Sounds to me like some of the local powers that be are kind of “rider” unfriendly. :cold: Therefore, I’m going to guess somewhere, anywhere, other than the big D. ........Would that be considered a safe guess? :bike:

At the risk of hijacking this NAFO thread even MORE than it already has been, this aftermarket pipes thing is really not such a big deal. If NAFO is in Denver I'm sure we'll all be just fine. Relax, ya'll.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled discussion about NAFO.

:)

Yeabutt...we don't have a location thread to hijack so we must do our best on this one. Is it July yet? We need "El Jeffe" to quit lusting/dreaming about the BMW 800 GS :dribble: and keep his mind and thoughts on finalizing the venue! :yahoo:

(Reaching agreements, including every detail and possibility, signing contracts and guarantee them with your personal line of credit....simple, huh? The "common folk" have no idea. What's takiing so long?)

....................and the cycle continues.

edit:...........you spin me round round round round round........like a.......

Sorry folks, but this one was just too far off track.

Concerned about my occasional splitting of threads......maybe you want gather up some oranges and towels and hav a midnight party with the newly annoited thread starters. I'm sure some self policing will happen.

And that's quite a trick! :clapping:

Uhm...to stay on track with the new thread...aftermarket slipons are not problem. I've taken my "Holeshots" off by bike.

To quote OrangevaleFJR--"stealth is nice."

As Toecutter states, "Loud pipes get passed!"

Concerned? Nah, not at all, but when I respond to a post and then notice that the post I was responding to that I thought was there a minute ago is gone, kinda makes me wanna call the doc and have him adjust the strength of my Oxycontin 'script. (Kinda like trying to read that last sentence, too!) Know what I mean?

On the contrary, I'm quite mellow. If I were cranky, you'd know it. Trust me. ;)
